In the 1950s and early 1960s a group of British servicemen were present on some pacific islands when the Government conducted a number of nuclear tests. These veterans claim that their health was severely damaged by the tests and yet the Government have for the last 30 years refused them compensation. Jim wants the Government to look again.

Jim is concerned about the amount of waste we get through each year, and believes that a carrier bag tax might just be one solution to the problem. Here he takes inspiration from a law passing through the Scottish Parliament to introduce such a tax and asks the Government to look again at introducing such a tax.
