Scottish Secretary Michael Moore has accepted Jim McGovern MP’s invitation to come to Dundee to visit the games industry and see what can be done to support Dundee companies and attract new games businesses to the City.

Jim McGovern welcomes the House of Commons Scottish Affairs Select Committee visit to Dundee, as part of the committee’s on-going investigation into the computer games industry.

Ahead of today’s vote on the Coalition’s plans to reduce the number of MPs in the House of Commons, and to alter the way that boundary changes are decided, Jim McGovern MP for Dundee West has expressed outrage at the effect this will have on Dundee.

Jim McGovern caustiously welcomes the announcement today (6th September) that an American company had bought the ‘MyWorld’ section of Dundee based games company Real Time Worlds.
