Last week Jim McGovern, MP for Dundee West, put a written question to Justice Minister Crispin Blunt, asking how much contact he had had with the Prison Officers’ Association concerning proposals to change the pay and conditions of prison service staff.

Speaking in the House of Commons today (27th July) Jim McGovern, MP for Dundee West, asked Nick Clegg how much communication he has had with the authorities in Scotland over the clash of dates between the planned referendum on an AV voting system and the Scottish Parliamentary Election.

Jim McGovern MP for Dundee West met today, alongside Dr Richard Wilson CEO of TIGA, with the Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore to discuss the decision made by the coalition to scrap the planned tax relief for the computer games industry.

Today (21st July) in the House of Commons, Jim McGovern MP for Dundee West, questioned the Secretary of State for Scotland whether or not he had made any representations to the Treasury over the decision to scrap the computer games tax relief.

It was confirmed today that the Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore will meet with Jim McGovern MP for Dundee West, and Dr Richard Wilson CEO of TIGA, the trade body that represents the computer games industry. The meeting will discuss the issue of the Government’s decision to scrap the planned tax relief for the computer games industry.
