Jim McGovern MP today welcomed culture minister Mike Russell’s announcement that the Scottish Executive have finally shown their support for the proposals for a Dundee branch of the V&A.

Jim McGovern, MP for Dundee West has spoken today to both Scottish Water and UNISON regarding Scottish Water’s proposed cuts to its operation in the north east of Scotland which sparked fears of job losses this week in Dundee.

Jim McGovern MP has today received a letter from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office enclosing a medical examiners report regarding the circumstances surrounding Scotland supporter Kevin Murray’s the cause of death. Mr Murray, a Dundee resident who travelled to Amsterdam to watch Scotland play Netherlands in the World Cup qualifier in March tragically died on the morning of the match.
