Jim McGovern MP for Dundee West raised the issue of apprenticeships in Dundee with Harriet Harman MP, Leader of the House of Commons, with reference to the lack of assurances given by the SNP-led Dundee City Council that new building projects should be awarded to companies with an accredited apprenticeship scheme.

In light of the child protection report published today in the wake of the Brandon Muir case, Dundee West MP, Jim McGovern raised the reports findings at Department of Health questions today.

This afternoon Dundee West MP Jim McGovern received a call from Mr Crighton, Director of Product Management at NCR in Dundee asking to now organise a meeting on Monday 8th June at 11.30 which Mr McGovern accepted.
