Dundee West MP Jim McGovern today announced that after a recent Government decision he will now be able to distribute the new UK Merchant Seafarers Veterans Lapel Badge.
Dundee West MP Jim McGovern today sparked a debate about the future of this country’s honours system after calling for the system to be abolished or at the very least seriously updated.
Jim is a long critic of the honours system believing them to be outdated and a bit of an anachronism. However, to be helpful here he requests the Government to look at expanding the way they are distributed:
