Last week local MP Jim McGovern spent the week learning all about science as part of the Royal Society’s annual MP Scientist pairing scheme. Each year scientists shadow MPs for a week to gain a better knowledge of the political process.

With closing of the Farepak Response Fund yesterday the concerns of Dundee West MP Jim McGovern today turned back to making sure that those responsible for the Farepak debacle are brought to book.

Questions still exist over the collapse of Farepak and until this is cleared up MPs such as Jim are going to pressure the Government and those responsible. Here, Jim asks about the progress of the investigation and urges the Government to ensure that everyone attends.
